Will always love.
It kills me how huge suicide is in a lot of people’s minds. Some people can’t think of anything else, besides ending their own lives. My best friend, when we were 15, committed suicide. She was going through very deep depression, a lot that I couldn’t understand. It’s crazy to think that 1 out of 6 people are suicidal. It breaks my heart…… Almost 8 years have passed since she hung herself in that dark basement…. And so much has changed. My grandfather once told me that “Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.” It’s so hard to get this through to people who are so low, but things DO GET BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! take a step back at your life and see how much has changed since a year ago today… Are things different?? I BET SO! My heart aches for all of the people still going through depression.
I wish I could hug you all and tell you that things will change. You will smile. Life is worth it. You’ll be alive! I wish I could take all of the young teenagers who are suicidal to the park… Surrounded by beautiful flowers and the sun would be shining. I wish I could show them how every winter, the grass and leaves and plants die, but that they come back FULLY ALIVE AGAIN each spring & summer. I would wish that they could see that just because you are depressed today, doesn’t mean it will last.
